Many pieces of software which require their own MySQL or PostgreSQL database will require database login information. The easiest way to generate this informtation is through the MySQL Datbase Wizard or MySQL pages located in your cPanel. A custom database name, access username and password, and access privelages can each be set from those pages.
If asked for a database server or MySQL hostname, you may enter "localhost" (without the quotes).
It it additionally reccomended that clients do not use their cPanel login details to connect to a MySQL database, either locally or remotely, and instead create credentials for each piece of software or user which requires database login access.
